WHO WE ARE
Established in 2014, our mission as college democrats is to promote discourse, inclusivity, and engagement with the political process on our campus and throughout the San Luis Obispo Community. Our club meetings are an educational space for students to learn more about politics at a local and national level, while engaging in meaningful discourse with fellow members.
Our club is always a driving force behind local campaigns and are constantly working to elect Democrats into office, providing members with hands on political experience. We have been significantly involved with campaigns such as Salud Carbajal for Congress, Erica Stewart for City Council, Yes on Measure G, and many more. We encourage civic engagement within our club and campus by educating students on relevant issues, registering voters, and hosting educational events throughout the year.

SLO COUNTY PROGRESSIVES
The SLO county progressives promote and elect local Democrats through grassroots mobilization. From fundraisers to endorsements, the SLO county Progressives work tirelessly to elect Democratic leaders.
PLANNED PARENTHOOD GENERATION ACTION
One chapter of a much larger organization spanning 300 colleges, Cal Poly's Planned Parenthood Generation Action club fights for the reproductive rights of women across the nation. Created in 2017, Cal poly PPGA also fights against rape culture that is all too prevalent on college campuses everywhere.
SLO COUNTY DEMOCRATIC PARTY
The official voice of the Democratic Party in San Luis Obispo County. Through fundraisers, registering voters, and events with candidates, the SLOCDP performs all the duties to improve and promote the longevity of the Democratic Party.
